Earlier this month, the Bryan Electric team took an important step toward reinforcing our commitment to workplace safety by participating in an Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogen training course provided by the American Red Cross.
This comprehensive course equipped our employees with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to respond effectively during medical emergencies—both on the jobsite and beyond. Safety is not just a requirement in our industry; it is a core value, and ongoing training plays a critical role in ensuring everyone goes home safe at the end of the day.

Comprehensive Emergency Response Training
During the training, participants received certification and instruction across a wide range of critical topics, including:
- Recognition and response to sudden illnesses, such as seizures, strokes, allergic reactions, poisoning, and diabetic emergencies
- Treatment of common injuries, including cuts, burns, sprains, and fractures
- Identification and response to breathing and cardiac emergencies, with an emphasis on fast, confident action
- Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to assist in life-threatening cardiac events
- Understanding bloodborne pathogens, along with best practices for personal protective equipment (PPE) and procedures to prevent contamination and disease transmission
This training ensures our team is prepared to act quickly, safely, and effectively in emergency situations—skills that can make a critical difference when seconds matter.

This course marks the first of many planned training sessions throughout the year, all designed to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and to continuously improve safety awareness across our organization.
We are proud of our team for their participation and dedication to learning skills that protect not only their coworkers, but also their families and communities. Safety training is an investment—and one that pays dividends every day on the job.
